Polar Bears CHAS PRESENTATION |

Fiona and Mike Davies held a Polar Get-Together at their home on 4th January when they were joined by Barbara Osborne, Fund Raising Manager for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland. After enjoying a buffet supper Fiona took the opportunity to present Barbara with a cheque for £1,250. This amount, which is in addition to the £900 already gift-aided by participants on the Highland Fling 2007 Tour, was raised by holding a raffle and auction at the Fling Gala Dinner and selling bears over the weekend. In addition generous donations were received from the Highland MG Owners’ Club, the Mandate Chapter and the Jeanne d’Arc Lodge. |

| The money will go towards the continued funding of the Rachel House at Home Team which is based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness and supports Highland families. Fourteen of the thirty-six Highland Flingers were able to be present. | |
