Bears Visit to Dorothy Goodman School.

In a previous edition of the BEAR FACTS we were given a kind invitation to visit Dorothy Goodman School, well better late than never!!  

 On a very cold afternoon in December, Martyn Beddow with his lovely Noble, Cindy and Ian in their Porche, Tony & I in the Sunbeam Alpine & Daimler Dart arrived to a very warm welcome.

We parked outside the entrance; the teachers brought their classes out one by one.   The children were really enthusiastic, with lots of smiles and questions.  Although it was very cold, they didn’t seem to mind and there was an ample supply of hot tea & coffee for us.  Later on some of the staff gave a tour of the School, including their wonderful playground with the wheelchair accessible swing donated by the Bears.

 As you will see from the photos it was a super visit. Many thanks to Dorothy Goodman School for making us feel so welcome.   Also to Martyn, Cindy and Ian for giving up their time to come.
