Remember last  November?

We were at the N.E.C

   Displaying cars and raffling Bears.

For a Children's Charity

 

The Club Show’s really something, 

With loads to see and do,

And our faithful band of stalwart Bears

pulled out the stops for you.

 

For, by being ‘Oh so charming’

To the people at the Show,

Or, by twisting arms and flanneling,

‘Cos how are we to know?

 

Five Hundred Pounds at a quid a go

Was the mighty sum they raised.

And they did it all with just two Teds

And in only a couple of days

 

 Then later in December 

We had a   “Christmas do”

 For  Anglian Bears in a restaurant,

 With other groups there too.

 

For we’d twenty something prizes

Each donated by a ‘ Bear’,

So we held a Christmas Raffle

For all the people there.

 

And after a merry evening,

Replete with food and wine,

We’d another Hundred and Fifty Pounds

So that was really fine.

 

 And following all our efforts

We are overjoyed to say

That the Upside Down Club Kids’ll

Have an Adventure Holiday.
