Sunday lunchtime 23rd October A group of Midlands Bears met at our regular ‘watering hole’ at The Bulls Head in Barston. We were particularly pleased to welcome new Bears Members Clive & Grace Hampson and Bill & Kathy Skermer, with their very smart E-Type and TR. NEC ‘Dream Rides’ 11th – 13th November Another fantastic Sporting Bears Event! A good group of Midlands Bears were involved, including our new Members above. Ok – it was not too far to travel !
Sunday pre-Christmas lunch 11th December 2011 Midlands Bears met for a very enjoyable pre-Christmas lunch at The Rose and Crown at Portway (by jct 3 M42). A group of 15 of us, & we were particularly pleased to welcome two further new Bears Members Richard & Karen Wilson.

Sunday lunchtime 22nd January 2012 Midlands Bears will again be meeting at The Bulls Head in Barston B92 0JU from 12.30 lunchtime. Sunday 8th July 2012 ‘Day Drive-Out’ Midlands Bears will be meeting en-route to the Welshpool area for a drive-out through mid-Wales. Sunday 29th July 2012 Shelsley Walsh ‘Classic Weekend’ Midlands Bears are arranging a return annual visit to Shelsley Walsh WR6 6RP www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motor sport venue in continuous use in the world. This the opportunity to enjoy motor sport in close proximity, with access to the paddock and the restored water mill & restaurant buildings, together with parking & seated hillside enclosures all included in the entry ticket. We have arranged a specially reduced ticket price for Sporting Bears Members of £12.00 (*when prepaid) with an optional donation to the Sporting Bears Charity Fund – the normal ticket price is £15.00. Sunday 26th August 2012 The Coventry ‘Festival of Motoring’ Midlands Bears have been invited on behalf of Sporting Bears to be involved with this re-established Event. The venue is Stoneleigh Park, Stoneleigh CV8 2LG. We will be providing the opportunity for ‘Dream Rides’ together with a static display of vehicles and Club regalia. A range of indoor & outdoor activities are being planned which will showcase much of the Midlands past & current motor industry heritage.
